Summer officially began for Ashley on Wednesday, 5/14 at 11 am when school was released for the last time this year. She is now a 4th grader! Hard to believe. To celebrate the beginning of the first full week of summer, Ashley had Abigail, one of her classmates from Mrs. McArthur’s class, over after church today, and they are still playing hard even after a full day of swimming, pedal boating, loving on dogs, throwing the ball, and dinner on the patio at Chuy’s.
We have a big summer planned for this sweet girl. She will spend the first week with Mamaw and then she also has tennis and swim camp at Hollytree, time planned with cousins from Texas and Kentucky, Pine Cove day camp, GABC lake camp, and a beach trip to Gulf Shores with family later in the summer. Hope she enjoys every day of her summer vacation and this was certainly a great fun to get it started!
