The title of my blog comes from Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory..." God has blessed me far more abundantly than I could have ever dreamed and I am so humbled by and undeserving of these blessings.

GABC Day Camp…Security!

This summer’s Day Camp was a study of Matthew 6 to help campers find “SECURITY” for their future. Campers are learning to live with values that last for eternity while having a blast each day!  Ashley attended the first week of Day Camp and as expected, she loved it and hated to say goodbye to her camp counselor. The camp is at Green Acres lake property, which is literally five minutes from my office so she would go to work with me in the morning, I would take her to camp, and then pick her back up in the afternoon.

This year’s theme…

“…Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” - Matthew 6:33-34

She was so sad to see the week come to an end, but not too sad to visit the Hollytree pool before she left for her Dad’s.

A little swimming, snacking and volleyball playing to end the week right…

The next time she is home, she will be going to Pine Cove with the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of East Texas.  It will be another fun and exciting summer week!
